DevOps Engineer
Manage our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred.
About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer at Castynet Studios, you will be responsible for the infrastructure that keeps our applications running smoothly. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, and ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and cost-effective. Working closely with development teams, you will enable rapid and reliable deployments while maintaining high availability. This role is crucial to our mission of delivering quality software to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Ensure security best practices across all infrastructure components
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment workflows
- Respond to incidents and conduct post-mortems to prevent recurrence
Requirements
- 3+ years of DevOps or SRE experience
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda)
- Proficiency with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Understanding of networking, security, and Linux administration
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python)
Nice To Have
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Knowledge of GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Background in database administration
- Experience with edge computing or CDN configuration
