About The Role
As a UI/UX Designer at Castynet Studios, you will shape the visual and interactive experiences of our digital products. You will conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and design beautiful interfaces that solve real problems for our clients users. We believe great design is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. You will work alongside developers to ensure your designs are implemented with precision and fidelity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
- Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Develop and maintain design systems with reusable components
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Stay current with design trends and emerging interaction patterns
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience for digital products
- Expert proficiency in Figma including prototyping and component libraries
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile design work
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Excellent visual design skills including typography and color theory
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice To Have
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or frontend development
- Experience with design tokens and handoff workflows
- Background in branding and graphic design
- Familiarity with analytics and data-driven design decisions
